What does a jet ski rental cost?

Nationally, hourly jet ski rental prices commonly land somewhere between roughly $75 and $150 an hour depending on the market and the season, so the Triangle sits in a normal range for inland lake riding.

Which rental length should you pick?

One hour is enough to try it and know whether you like it. By the time you have your briefing and get comfortable on the throttle, though, you are already partway through.

Two hours is what we recommend for most groups. It leaves time to explore a cove, swap riders and take photos without watching the clock.

Half and full days make sense when you are making a lake day of it - packing food, anchoring off a beach, swimming between rides. Per hour they are the best value on the list.

What is included and what is not

Included: the ski itself, US Coast Guard approved life jackets and a hands-on safety briefing covering the lake rules, no-wake zones and how the machine behaves.

Not included and worth budgeting for: fuel used during your ride, a refundable deposit hold on a card, and any optional damage waiver. These are standard across rental operators, so compare them when you compare prices.
