North Carolina does not require a general boating license, but anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must complete an approved boater education course before operating a vessel powered by 10 hp or more. Bring proof of completion if that applies to you.
State law sets 14 as the minimum age to operate a personal watercraft in North Carolina, with education requirements attached. Younger riders can ride as passengers. Our own rider and driver minimums are being finalized and will be listed here.
Yes. Our two-seat skis carry two riders, provided the combined weight stays within the machine's rated capacity.
Most people who rent a jet ski have never ridden one before. The controls are simple: squeeze the throttle to go, let off to slow down, and lean into turns. We walk you through everything before you leave the dock.
Jordan Lake is bigger and more open, which suits groups and riders who want room to move. Falls Lake is narrower with more coves and is usually calmer, and it is the shorter drive from Raleigh and Wake Forest.
A swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, water, and a photo ID for whoever is driving. Leave anything you cannot get wet in the car.
Light rain usually does not stop a ride. Lightning, high wind or unsafe water conditions do. Our full weather policy covers how rescheduling works.
Published rates are $99 for 1 hour, $170 for 2 hours, $299 for a half day, and $525 for a full day. Prices cover one jet ski; a two-seat ski carries up to two riders.
